Wonder Woman's Forgotten Daughter FURY Is a Superman-Level Powerhouse
Summary Fury, Wonder Woman's daughter, once proved to be stronger than Supergirl, easily overpowering the Kryptonian in combat, displaying a strength-level with few parallels besides Superman in the DC Universe.
Fury's battles against major heavy hitters like the New God Big Barda showcased her immense strength and power.
Fury's redemption arc ultimately saved the DC Universe from a massive threat; had she remained a villain, she could have become one of the most dangerous antagonists in the DCU.
Wonder Woman is well known as one of the most physically powerful characters in the DC Universe, but exactly how powerful she is tends to waver depending on the writer. However, one version of Wonder Woman's daughter proved just how powerful an Amazon can be, when she took down Supergirl with ease.
World's Finest Annual #1 – by Paul Levitz and Diogenes Neves – offered readers a glimpse at the might of Wonder Woman's daughter Fury, when she attacked Supergirl and Robin, quickly proving able to overpower Supergirl, and easily tossing her around, while Supergirl claims no one is stronger than her, that certainly doesn't seem to be the case with Fury.
Fury openly states that she's stronger than Supergirl, and continues to prove it throughout the fight. It's later confirmed that Fury is none other than the daughter of Wonder Woman, which brings into question just how powerful Wonder Woman is as well.

Not only was she able to keep up with Supergirl in combat, but Fury also fought against major heavy hitters like Big Barda, and she won.
The battle between Fury and Supergirl offered the clearest look at just how powerful Amazons can be. Fury easily fought against Supergirl, who is DC's most powerful Kryptonian. Being the daughter of Wonder Woman and the New God Steppenwolf, Fury is in the unique position of being far stronger than the average Amazon and is more than capable of standing against Supergirl. While their fight was cut short, this is because Fury got what she needed and retreated, not because she was outmatched.
When Fury appeared in the comics, she was capable of easily squaring off against Supergirl, fighting against her evenly, which is a shock considering just how absurdly powerful Kryptonians are typically considered to be. However, Fury's feats of strength didn't stop here. Not only was she able to keep up with Supergirl in combat, but Fury also fought against major heavy hitters like Big Barda, and she won. Big Barda is a New God, like Fury's father, and is often depicted as one of the strongest among them.
Fury fought and defeated Big Barda in Earth 2: World's End #11 – written by Daniel H. Wilson; art by Scott McDaniel; ink by Cam Smith; ink & color by Hi-Fi; lettering by Dezi Sienty.
Ultimately, Fury's redemption arc was a relief to the heroes of the DC Universe. Given how powerful Wonder Woman's daughter turned out to be, she would've been a massive threat had she continued as a villain.
Fury's Redemption Arc Saved The DCU From A Massive Threat
Combined Amazonian & New God Strength
Fury was a massive threat to the Justice League during the time she worked for her father, Steppenwolf. Her incredible physical strength allowed her to continually go up against the Justice League's heaviest hitters, such as Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Superman. Thankfully, Mister Miracle was eventually able to convince Fury to join the Justice League and betray her father. This was a major turning point in her character, at which point she finally started becoming a hero. Ultimately, Fury's redemption arc was a relief to the heroes of the DC Universe.
