Captain Kerry Titheradge has been keeping busy since Below Deck season 11. He came into the charter season as the replacement for the franchise’s long-time captain, Lee Rosbach. After heading the series for 10 years, Captain Lee was not asked back for Below Deck season 11, likely because of concerns for his health. Hailing from Below Deck Adventure, it was unclear how Captain Kerry would fare in the new season. Nonetheless, he stepped up throughout his first charter season on the mainstay series with Fraser Olender serving as his Chief Stew, only letting go of two crew members all season.
He navigated conflict quickly and had to fire Jared Woodin early in the season after his performance as Bosun was lacking. Captain Kerry was liked by most of his crew, aside from Ben Willoughby. He promoted Ben to Bosun after Jared was fired, and they butted heads throughout the season. The second-choice Bosun accused Captain Kerry of micromanaging the crew in the final days of the charter season. With rumors of Captain Kerry returning to Below Deck season 12 alongside another season 11 alumni, it appears he’s gearing up to lead another season of the show.
