20 Stars We're Excited To See At Fan Expo Dallas

Several celebrities will appear at Fan Expo Dallas in June 2024, and while most are recognizable names, 20 guests undoubtedly stand out from the crowd. The sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming convention will occur at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. The organizers expect tens of thousands of people to attend to get autographs, photos with their favorite actors/actresses/filmmakers, and watch various exciting panels featuring the aforementioned celebrities. Following the impressive talent at the Fan Expo Philadelphia in May, the Dallas event is pulling out all the stops with its lineup of stars.

Fan Expo Dallas will take place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from June 7 to June 9, 2024.

In previous years, Fan Expo Dallas has featured notable guests such as Michael J. Fox, Lynda Carter, Keifer Sutherland, Tom Welling, Rainn Wilson, and more. For 2024, the convention's list of attendees continues Fan Expo's reputation of getting big names to make an appearance, sign autographs, take photos, and engage in discussions and panels. From Marvel Cinematic Universe stars to Doctor Who legends, it looks like Fan Expo Dallas made sure to have a wide variety of guests to appeal to all fans.

20 David Tennant

Known For Doctor Who

David Tennant, who is most known for his run as the Tenth Doctor in the popular BBC sci-fi series, is one of the many Doctor Who cast members attending Fan Expo Dallas. Tennant is credited with launching Doctor Who's modern acclaim with his performance of the Tenth Doctor, and many rank him as their favorite Doctor in the show's history. So, the actor's mark on Doctor Who is rather extraordinary (which makes Tennant's appearance at Fan Expo Dallas in 2024 all the more exciting).

In one of the show's most shocking plot twists, David Tennant returned to Doctor Who in 2023 to briefly play the Fourteenth Doctor (before Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor took over).

Aside from the BBC series, though, Tennant has had a plethora of other memorable roles. He is known for his critically acclaimed portrayal of Kilgrave in Netflix's Jessica Jones (arguably one of Marvel's best villains), and he currently stars as Crowley in Good Omens. Additionally, Tennant is a talented voice actor who voices Huyang in Ahsoka and previously voiced Scrooge McDuck in DuckTales.

Matarazzo has starred as Dustin Henderson in Stranger Things since season 1, and he's undoubtedly been one of the fan-favorite characters since viewers met Dustin during the pilot episode. Mattarazzo is mostly just known for his portrayal of Dustin. However, the actor also has an impressive stage career, having played Gavroche in Les Misérables and Jared Kleinman in Dear Evan Hanson.

Raimi, a director, screenwriter, and producer, is notable for helming the first three films in the Evil Dead franchise and the Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. He recently returned to his comic roots when he agreed to direct the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.

Morrison has played Jango Fett (and his many clones, including Boba Fett) in the Star Wars franchise since Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. However, the actor is also known for voicing Chief Tui in the cast of Moana and Moana 2 and playing Tom Curry (Aquaman's father) in the DCEU (Aquaman, The Flash, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom).
