This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

The latest update on the Fallout season 2 script suggests that the series could be coming sooner than expected. An adaptation of the popular video game series of the same name, Fallout was released to Prime Video this past spring. Fallout's reviews were largely positive, and the show was popular on Prime Video. The plot featured an original story that was set in the original world of the open-world video game. Its leading cast included Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Moises Arias, Leslie Uggams, and Zach Cherry.

As per Variety, Amazon executives Jennifer Salke and Vernon Sanders reveal information about the Fallout season 2 script, including confirming the return of Lucy, the Ghoul, and Maximus. Salke noted that Amazon is "committed to [their] journey with [their] beloved characters," indicating the return of the main team behind Fallout season 1. Sanders added that the scripts have already been completed for season 1.

Salke: We are committed to our journey with our beloved characters. Such a great Season 2 coming. Sanders: We’ve been fortunate because this was the vision all along. I think we’re ahead of schedule, in terms of being able to get Season 2 back. We don’t have an exact launch date yet, but we’ve already gotten scripts in hand, and I think the fans of Season 1 will really love where we’re going for Season 2. Salke: I saw some of the talk of, is this an anthology? And it does have a lot of doors we can go through, which is the beauty of the IP. But we are fully committed, and we’re all on this journey with the characters that we’ve met and loved in Season 1.

More to come...
