ROMANTIC PARTNER FLAME LOVER STEADY SWEETHEART
This one didn't actually get solved until we had two other categories done. STEADY was the one we were most unsure about as it's less a nickname and more of a relationship status. After we had narrowed it down to these words, the final category made it easier to guess. At that point, there were not many options for words that could refer to people.

INSULT BURN DIG JAB SLIGHT
This one is all about how people insult each other, whether it be more lighthearted such as a "sick BURN" or a "light JAB" or something more harmful like a DIG or a SLIGHT that feels very passive-aggressive.
This category had the only words that matched with actions people commit toward each other, so we managed to solve this one first. BURN and FLAME have some similarities, but there were no other fire-related words that felt obvious enough to connect the two.

GAS PUMP OPTIONS DIESEL PLUS PREMIUM REGULAR
At the PREMIUM of gas these days, it's no wonder we saw this one right away. As soon as we saw DIESEL and REGULAR near each other, we figured this had to do with the very controversial fossil fuel-related liquid that powers our cars.
PLUS and PREMIUM came after when we saw that there was not much else that had to do with gas-related words. Perhaps that was for the best, as we don't really want to think about this category longer than we have to.

___ TABLE COFFEE PERIODIC POOL WATER
This one wasn't very clear, and we had no idea what COFFEE and PERIODIC had to do with each other at first glance. However, it actually makes more sense than STEADY did in the other category. While two of these are pieces of furniture and two of them are more theoretical in nature, they do share a common idea that is a little more concrete than some of the other words.
