The highly anticipated anime Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms has just released a brand-new trailer, alongside the reveal of its theme song artists and insight into the plot, sparking a wave of excitement among long-time Mecha-Ude fans and newcomers alike. Based upon the manga Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms from 2022 by Yoshino Koyoka and the 2018 Mecha-Ude OVA, this new series will premiere in October 2024 on Crunchyroll.
According to a post on X by @animetv_jp, Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms will be adapted by TriFi Studio and have Hiroyuki Sawano on board for the opening and ending themes. This project is a culmination of fan love and labor, only able to exist because of the 2018 Kickstarter Mecha-Ude OVA and the attention that gained.

This new trailer showcases a glimpse at the opening and closing themes of the series, titled "VORTEX" and "karma". These themes are produced and composed by legendary music producer Hiroyuki Sawano. Sawano is known for his songs within Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, and Blue Excorcist.
Additionally, this trailer reveals how TriFi Studio's fantastic animation is perfect for bringing the world of Mecha-Ude to life. This breathtaking animation compliments the newest aspects of the story that have been revealed.
