Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Casting Update Includes Returning Cooper In-Law

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage has cast two more major characters. The sitcom, which follows the early days of the marriage between new parents Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment) is a sequel to Young Sheldon, which itself was a prequel to the long-running comedy The Big Bang Theory. The ensemble cast of the upcoming Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage already includes Rachel Bay Jones and Will Sasso as Mandy's parents. It is also set to feature cameos from Young Sheldon stars Annie Potts, Raegan Revord, and Zoe Perry.

Per Deadline, Jessie Prez and Dougie Baldwin have both joined the Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage cast as series regulars. Prez will be playing Ruben, an employee at the tire store run by Mandy's father who is frustrated by the recent hiring of Georgie. Baldwin will be playing Mandy's younger brother Connor McAllister, a misfit who still lives with his parents. The character has been recast, as he previously appeared in Young Sheldon as played by Joseph Apollonio.
