The Boys star Karl Urban, who portrays Billy Butcher in the superhero TV show, has revealed the release window for season 5, confirming when the expect the final season to arrive. The Boys season 4 ended with the team going their separate ways, only for them to be captured by Vought soldiers. In the meantime, Homelander has become the leader of a Supe army across the US after martial law is declared, while Butcher is riding into parts unknown with the superhero virus in tow.
Now, Urban has posted images of himself and Jeffrey Dean Morgan - who portrayed his alternate persona Joe Kessler - alongside a caption revealing when The Boys season 5 will arrive.
In the post's description, Urban regrettably reveals that season 5 won't arrive until 2026. While it's unclear what time of year the final season will arrive, his confirmation that it will be another "two years" indicates it might not be until that summer.
