The Mandalorian's Iconic Razor Crest Returns In This SDCC Exclusive 4D Build Model Kit
Summary This Razor Crest model kit commemorates the iconic ship from The Mandalorian with a limited 300 sets at SDCC.
The model kit consists of 140pcs, measures 16.22" x 10.23" x 9.52", has a foil finish, and takes about two hours to build.
This kit emphasizes Din Djarin's need for a new Razor Crest, something that could still be possible in his Mandalorian future.
Din Djarin's iconic Razor Crest, which debuted in The Mandalorian, returns in this San Diego Comic-Con exclusive 4D Build cardstock model kit. Throughout the first two installments of the Star Wars TV show, the Razor Crest became almost as beloved as a character as Din Djarin and Grogu themselves. That made its fate in season 2 all the more tragic, when it was blasted into pieces by Moff Gideon and his light cruiser. Despite this cruel fate, the legacy of the Razor Crest lives on, and this awesome SDCC exclusive model kit certainly proves that.

4D Build's Razor Crest model kit is arriving at the perfect time, seeing as Din Djarin's new lifestyle sorely misses the vessel he once had. While his current N-1 Starfighter is incredible in its own right, particularly for the beloved Star Wars prequel trilogy nostalgia that it brings with it, it's not exactly ideal for his new path as an under-the-table contracted "bounty hunter" for the New Republic. Should Din be ordered to capture someone rather than kill them, he would have nowhere to put them in his small ship. The Razor Crest, however, had more than enough room for multiple targets.
The Razor Crest was also more fitting for a familial life, which certainly describes Din Djarin and Grogu post-The Mandalorian season 3 ending. Grogu has officially been adopted by Din as both his son and his Mandalorian apprentice, which means they really could have benefited from having what's essentially a space minivan. Only time will tell if future The Mandalorian stories will see Din Djarin return to his familiar type of vessel, though this model kit by 4D Build will be a perfect stand-in for SDCC attendees in the meantime.
