University Point Location In Fallout 4

Southern-Central Region Of Commonwealth

To find the Prototype UP77 'Limitless Potential,' players must venture to a faction of the Institute, University Point Student Union, as it is locked in the Credit Union bank vault. This can be found in the Southern-Central region of the Commonwealth, specifically between Andrew Station and Neponset Park. Take a look at your Pip-Boy in Fallout 4 to find the most convenient fast-travel spots nearby.

There are two entrances to the union, with the public entrance identifiable with a 'Bank' sign outside, which is where players need to go. This will give you access to a small lobby separated from the back employee area. This segment is locked by a Terminal that players of Novice-level must hack into.

When you approach the building, beware of the hostile Synths patrolling the area outside. When you enter the area, ensure you're ready for a fight and packed with ammo and consumables for survival.

Upon taking care of the enemies, you can head indoors and make an immediate right to find the Terminal in Fallout 4. Use it to unlock the steel door blocking your path, allowing you to enter the building. Once you get through, head downstairs to find yourself inside the Student Credit Union.

You will find useful items, including a Bobby Pin Box, on the bottom shelf beneath the cashier machines in the Credit Union. This Box is especially useful when clearing out this building for items.

How To Unlock The University Credit Union Vault

Requires Master-level Lockpicking

Heading down the next set of stairs, open the Security Gate to find another Novice-level Terminal. This must be used to hack open the Credit Union bank vault in Fallout 4. Alternatively, those who want to save their Bobby Pins can access the vault by using Gerald's Vault Password.

Gerald's Vault Password can be found in the employee area, kitchen, and break room. As there are quite a few vaults and terminals within this building, Streamer House on YouTube recommends leveling up your lockpicking skills and getting the locksmith perk to ensure you don't miss out on any key items.

When you unlock and enter the vault, you will find several safes, some already open, while others are broken. Among them, you will see a locked safe in the second row of the right-hand wall that requires Master-level lockpicking in Fallout 4.

Within the open and locked safes, a plethora of extra items are worth taking, including an Ammo Box containing Plasma Cartridges, Caliber, and Rounds. You can also pick up Nuka Cola, Rad-X, and several crafting materials. Two more locked Advanced-level and Master-level safes also contain ammunition and valuable materials.

Master-level is the highest-ranking lock in Fallout 4 and, therefore, the hardest to open. If you haven't leveled up this skill yet, you won't be able to use your Bobby Pins to open the safe. To bypass this issue, look for Campbell's Safe Password, which can be found in the student records terminal in Sedgwick Hall.

Sedgwick Hall is another Institute faction close by, within University Point. You can find the key card to open the Master-lock safe by heading through a broken wall hole within the main first-floor entrance. Players must go through the student records terminal in the mainframe and navigate through the necessary files, reaching the following entry, listed in order:

'Student Directory for 2077-2078'

> 'Enrolled Graduates'

> 'G-M'

To obtain Campbell's Safe Password in Fallout 4 within this Terminal, players are required to first view the entries of the professor's terminal on the third floor before accessing the student records terminal.

Whether you went to acquire the password or lockpicked your way into the Master-level safe on the second row, you will find a red button on the right side of the safe's interior. Press it to open a wall panel within the vault, allowing access to the secret neighboring lab.

Weapon Features & Abilities

Upon entering, you will find the Prototype UP77 'Limitless Potential' on a large table in the center of the room, available to pick up. You will also conveniently find Fusion Cells surrounding the weapon and a few workbenches around the room. The Weapons Workbench will allow you to immediately customize and mod your newly acquired firearm if you wish.

Weapon Features Stats Type Unique Energy weapon Effect Unlimited ammo capacity Ammo Fusion Cell Magazine Size Unlimited Fire Rate 90 Range 227 Accuracy 96 Sell Value 306 Caps

One of the unique features of the Prototype UP77 'Limitless Potential' weapon in Fallout 4 is that it possesses the Never Ending effect, which grants unlimited ammo capacity. This shouldn't be confused with having unlimited ammo, as it utilizes Fusion Cells, like other laser weapons found in the wasteland. Instead, it has an unrestricted Magazine, eliminating the need to reload when firing.

Not only does this make you faster when dealing damage in combat, but it also means that players will never have to stop shooting to reload. Due to this feature, the weapon aids in survivability, as those brief pauses from reloading are usually when players become vulnerable and prone to being attacked by enemies in Fallout 4.
