The Boys season 5 does not yet have an official release date, but is expected to air in 2026.
The Boys star Valorie Curry shares that she hopes her character, Firecracker, meets a horrible fate in season 5. Curry made her series debut in season 4 as the manipulative supe who joins the Seven and becomes the face of Vought's propaganda.
In an interview with Screen Rant at San Diego Comic-Con, Curry explained why she wants Firecracker to die in The Boys' final season and how her behavior may change after the game-changing developments in the season 4 finale. Check out her comments below:
I mean, I hope to see her dead. She has it coming from any number of people, but I'm really curious to see how Firecracker behaves from a place of desperation now that she realizes that she has very good reason to be afraid of Homelander. She realizes that she is as much a prisoner as she is empowered by Vought. It's something she can't get out alive now, and she knows that. And this is somebody who, this character, you never know what she's going to do next. That's one thing you can count on with Firecracker. You have no idea what she will do next. And if season 4 was seeing her acting from a relatively empowered place, what does season 5 look like when, even though, ostensibly, she's empowered, I think it's actually there's a lot more desperation in it.
More to come...
