Developed by Maestro Media, the studio behind the revered The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls board game, Donald Duck: Happy Camper is a new endeavor for the grumpy fowl that sees him embarking on an "adventurous camping trip." Turns involve players revealing a new part of the board before setting out on journeys to gather resources that can be used to set up tents on various terrains or craft gadgets to make progress smoother. It's all about balance though as the more resources in one's bag, the slower their movement meaning less of the environment can be mapped.

Players must complete tasks to earn badges and bonuses, with the winner taking the top spot by gathering up enough points by the time Donald Duck returns to camp. It may seem like an odd fit but Donald Duck has starred in several extremely popular games that are both mainstream hits and cult classics so marking the character's 90th birthday with a high-end board game is undoubtedly a fun celebration for all fans.

Besides starring in several licensed board games, including Donald Duck's Party Game for Young Folks all the way back in 1938, Donald Duck is far more at home in the realm of video games.
