As reported on the official Star Trek website, IDW announced Star Trek: Lower Decks at 2024’s San Diego Comic-Con. The book will feature North as a regular writer, with a new artist for each story. Derek Charm will draw Lower Decks’ first story. In addition to the aforementioned Shaxs’ Best Day, North and Charm worked on The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl for Marvel.
