Below Deck Mediterranean season 9’s Third Stew Bri Muller has been having a hard time throughout the charter season, but in the most recent episode of the series, she’s manipulating the truth surrounding her interactions with Second Stew Ellie Dubaich. While Bri and Ellie’s interactions have been tough all season long, Bri’s been deeply unaware of her place in the hierarchy of the superyacht as Third Stew. As one of the yachties with the least amount of experience aboard Mustique, Bri confessed early on that she’s never been able to fully finish a charter season without quitting before the end.

While Bri and Ellie have been entangled in a love triangle with Joe Bradley throughout Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, their issues have bled over into their professional day-to-day tasks, which has caused Chief Stew Aesha Scott to get involved. While Ellie believes that she’s being professional with Bri and treating her like the subordinate she is, Bri feels that Ellie is belittling her and asking too much of her when she’s simply trying to get her job done. Bri’s charter season with Below Deck Mediterranean has been a difficult one thus far. Not only is she dealing with interpersonal issues that have made it tough for her to work aboard the superyacht with ease, Bri has been doing inadequate work on Mustique entirely. She’s shown her inability to deal with the laundry, cabins, and other Stew duties throughout the season, but her struggles in laundry have easily been the worst. Bri’s time aboard Mustique has been riddled with mistakes, and rather than listen to the superior Stews who have tried to help her, Bri has ignored their help.

She’s Upset Ellie’s Also Interested In Joe Bradley

Throughout the season, Bri has been going after her fellow stew Ellie after both women were interested Below Deck's Joe. Though Bri was able to hook up with Joe first, she took Ellie’s displeasure about their connection personally, making it clear that she felt any slight Ellie had against her had something to do with the hookup. While Ellie was irritated, she stated plainly that she would continue to work professionally with Bri, but the Third Stew took things to another level when she began to believe that Ellie was coming after her for correcting mistakes and giving directions.

During the most recent episode of Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, Bri and Ellie had a meeting with Captain Sandy Yawn about the issues they’d been dealing with throughout the most recent charter. Ellie had been trying to work through the charter, but Bri felt like she was doing more than either of the other stews and began to cry as she worked through the cabins and laundry. When Captain Sandy and Aesha noticed Bri’s erratic emotions, they decided to take action, but Bri seemed to be entirely inconsolable. Captain Sandy struggled to understand the crux of the issues.

With Bri openly lashing out at Ellie in front of Captain Sandy, displaying uncontrollable emotions aboard Mustique, and having difficulty on the superyacht to start with, she seems unstable. Bri seems to be gaslighting Aesha, but it may not work with Below Deck Mediterranean’s Captain Sandy.
