This winged demon, seen in the sixth Act of the game's Season 5 story, attacks your character throughout four grueling phases. How To Prepare Against Ninsa, Blight Of Hatred

Have The Right Gear Ready To Go

Ninsa isn't particularly difficult to fight alone, but what makes her difficult is the variety of other enemies she summons to fight alongside her. To prepare for this fight, it is best to wear equipment resistant to fire or lightning damage, as these are the two primary types of punishment inflicted by Ninsa. Anything that boosts your character's health will be useful, too, since this fight lasts for quite some time.

You can also purchase potions to consume from an Alchemist vendor that has the right elemental resistance to help you against Ninsa. However, anything that buffs your character's defenses will help them endure against Ninsa and her allies in the Burning Hells. Character builds centered around defense tend to do best in this fight, while those designed to be glass cannons might struggle while facing this boss.

Alchemist vendors are rare NPCs you encounter throughout the various locations in Sanctuary. Try to free various strongholds in Diablo 4 on your map to possibly unlock more vendors with the right equipment to help you fight Ninsa.

Any gear with Thorns is a great addition to this fight due to the defensive nature of this rare trait. Thorns cause enemies to take damage upon hitting you, making them easier to kill the more aggressive they are. Ninsa summons an army of violent foes that threaten to overwhelm you, so having a way for them to die faster without additional input from your character will create a better situation for you to fight in.

How To Beat Ninsa, Blight Of Hatred

Take Down Minions And A New Boss

Ninsa will attack your character immediately once you find her in the Burning Hells, leaving you no time to anticipate her movements or consume a potion unless you were aware of her location ahead of time. Ninsa will be protected by a red orb that prevents the boss from taking damage until you kill the surrounding enemies. The Soul Burners fueling her protective shell have to be defeated before you can attack Ninsa.

Ninsa has a red bar indicating her health and a blue bar underneath it. This blue meter represents the boss' stagger bar, which can be reduced to nothing to stun Ninsa and allow you to land some free hits during the fight.

Several other enemies will attack right away, but these foes vary in difficulty depending on what World Tier in Diablo 4 you're playing Vessel of Hatred on. More Soul Burners will appear periodically to protect Ninsa again, so be prepared to quickly shift your attention to these minions when they show up. Knowing this boss' attack patterns will help you take them on directly as you find time to strike in between Ninsa's reliance on her allies.

Attack Description How To Counter Rain Of Fireballs Ninsa throws fire into the air, which rains back down as huge fireballs that cover a wide AoE area. The fire from these blasts lingers on the battlefield for a short time. Avoid the red circles that indicate where a fireball is going to land, then avoid that space to avoid taking damage from the lingering flames. Electric Projectiles Ninsa will gather blue energy into her hand before releasing it as a glowing blue orb of electricity that travels slowly toward your character, dealing damage if it hits you. Move out of the path of an orb or use your character's dash to quickly sidestep it as one gets too close.

Don't forget to use potions dropped by minions to keep a good source of healing at all times against Ninsa. When the boss reaches around 75% health, she will flee to a different section of the Hells and summon a smaller boss to stand in your way. You have to defeat The Hound of Hell mini-boss to reach Ninsa again to initiate the second phase of the fight, similar to other tough bosses in Diablo 4.

Taking down The Hound of Hell restarts the fight against Ninsa, who now uses even stronger demon allies to help her attack your character. Thankfully, Ninsa herself doesn't change, so you should be ready to keep fighting until her health is reduced to nothing. Those who manage to defeat Ninsa, Blight of Hatred, in Diablo 4, will be rewarded with gold and several high-rarity items as they progress to the next part of the story.
