Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree - How To Get Dane's Armor Set (Bloodborne)
Bloodborne is well-known for having incredibly appealing armor and gear, but Dane's Armor set in Elden Ring's Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC brings this style to its open world for you to get. The robes of Yharnam's Hunters stand out in The Lands Between alongside medieval equipment of knights and lords. To obtain all four pieces of Dane's set, you'll need to travel to two separate spots on your map.
Those struggling to find Dane's armor set should unlock all the Sites of Grace they can around the Land of Shadow map to aid in their exploration. The five regions you can travel across in the DLC have Grace Site scattered around various areas for fast travel. For example, unlocking every Site of Grace in the Cerulean Coast will help you search between places to the south and southeast easily.

Where To Find Dane's Armor
Collect The First Three Pieces Of The Set
The first three pieces of Dane's Armor set can be found southeast of the Shadow Keep, a massive fortress in the northeast section of the Land of Shadow. This keep is where you can take on many of the bosses from Shadow Of The Erdtree, including Messmer The Impaler in Elden Ring. The gear you're looking for is down the river stemming from the Keep, down below the structure in the waters closer to the ground.
To go to the waters under the Shadow Keep, go left from the Main Plaza Site of Grace and to the left to travel up the ramparts of the structure. On the larger walkways above, go east past enemy groups until a ladder on the left can help you descend to the water. Go beyond the waterfall to enter an area where the water runs off, where a coffin you can enter will take you to the landscapes where you can find the armor set.
Those who are looking for magical painting puzzles will find the "Domain of Dragons" painting in a small room right before the coffin below the Keep. Investigate this artwork to indicate a location in the Jagged Peak where you can recover a hidden treasure.
Using the Abyssal Wood map, you should unlock the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace as a landmark for you to start your travels. From this point, go south down the water's current until you reach the Recluses' River Upstream Grace Site some distance away. This resting spot should be right next to a huge waterfall leading down with a small path along the cliffs to your left showing you a path forward.
Go along this route and use Torrent to jump over the right side before looping back around to find a way down to where the waterfall ends. Falling down onto ledges to the bottom of the waterfall will reveal an item you can pick up that includes the Dryleaf Robe , Dryleaf Arm Wraps , and Dryleaf Cuissardes . These are the chest, guantlet, and leg armors for the Dane set, but it is not complete yet.
How To Get Dane's Hat
Challenge Dryleaf Dane To A Duel
The final piece of Dane's armor set, Dane's Hat , can be received when you defeat the NPC Dryleaf Dane in a duel. This character is a monk you may have already met while exploring the Land of Shadow in the Gravesite Plain region. For those who haven't met this character, you can easily find him near the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace, an area not too far from the Belurat Tower Settlement area.
To duel Dryleaf Dane, you have to pick up the item next to the Highroad Cross Grace Site called the "Monk's Missive." This letter asks any traveler to come and initiate a duel with Dane, who has been looking for a truly worthy opponent. Alongside the Missive, you will receive the "May The Best Win" gesture, which you can perform in front of Dane to be teleported into a battle arena with the NPC now acting as a boss.
As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Gaming with Abyss, Dane's Hat and the Dryleaf Arts weapon appear back near the Moorth Ruins Grace Site once you are teleported back from the arena where you fought Dryleaf Dane once he's been beaten.
Dryleaf Dane uses the Hand-to-Hand Sacred Dryleaf Arts weapon in Elden Ring, making them a master of close-range combat against your character. You'll have to dodge Dane's strikes and a few Faith spells to take down the monk and claim the warrior's gear for yourself. In addition to Dane's Hat, you also gain the Dryleaf Arts weapon for you to use depending on your character's build in Shadow Of The Erdtree.
Dane Armor Set Stats, Strengths, & Weaknesses
Use Light Armor Wisely In Combat
The Dane armor set may look incredibly cool as a reminder of Bloodborne's aesthetic, but you have to keep in mind that this gear is considered Light Armor within Elden Ring. Light Armor typically does not add much to your character's Weight, meaning that you can still dodge quickly with this equipment. However, this also causes your character to have limited defenses against various damage types.

As you can see, the best stats for the Dane armor set are the Focus and Vitality of each piece of equipment. This makes the armor perfect for taking on enemies who can inflict Madness, such as the optional Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame boss in Elden Ring. Despite the lack of physical defenses, the magical and elemental resistances are decent enough to make this armor worth using against enemy spell casters.
Ultimately, this gear is best used when your character build fully supports its intended strengths while covering its vulnerabilities. Those who manage to get all of Dane's armor set in Elden Ring's Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC can relive their memories of Bloodborne best when they have the right tools to make this equipment effective.
