Shonen Jump's new series Kagurabachi seems to have caught the attention of one of the biggest mangaka ever, and this endorsement seals the deal for this budding series. The recommendation couldn't have come at a better time, as the manga is establishing itself as the future of the publisher.

Kagurabachi's third volume is about to be released, and it was revealed that a recommendation would accompany it. Previously, the creator of My Hero Academia Kohei Horikoshi recommended volume 1, and Vaundy, one of Japan's biggest musicians, recommended volume 2.

As revealed by the official X account of the series, the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, gave his seal of approval to the Kagurabachi manga. This is a huge deal considering how much weight Kishimoto's words have and what it means to Takeru Hokazono.

It has already been revealed that the main reason why Hokazono became a mangaka was because of his love for Naruto, so the fact that his idol likes his series is very heartwarming. It is also interesting to note that Kishimoto also recommended Horikoshi's work in its early days, and he is now doing the same for Kagurabachi. He particularly loved how captivating the manga is and how much emotion you could feel through the drawings, and said that Kagurabachi is exactly the type of manga that people love.

Kagurabachi does have many similarities with Naruto. The main character, Chihiro, is a revenge-driven master swordsman who has red eyes and can use lightning, which is similar to Sasuke. Shiba is a blonde teleportation user with a relaxed demeanor, just like Minato. Kagurabachi's paneling and heavy use of perspective shots in fight scenes are just like Naruto, and as the series goes on, more similarities between the two series will be shown.
