Palworld: Where To Find & Catch Dazemu (Location, Drops & How To Breed)

Several new Pals have been added to Palworld in light of the Sakurajima update, but Dazemu stands out as one of the most interesting you can find and catch. Like all the potential companion creatures in the game, Dazemu has distinct breeding combinations and item drops you can take advantage of. However, those looking to reap the benefits of this Pal will have to discover its spawn location first.

The Partner Skill of Dazemu, Sand Sprint, allows you to use this Pal as a Land Mount in Palworld. This allows you to ride upon this creature's back to quickly explore the world, including the new map of Sakurajima Island. You'll need to craft a Dazemu Saddle using 20 Leather, 30 Fiber, 15 Ingot, and 20 Paldium Fragments to properly ride this Pal once you get to Technology Level 22.

Where To Find Dazemu

Investigate Spawning Locations Or Explore Certain Dungeons

As you can see on the above map, Dazemu spawn within the Southern Sandbar to the northwest of Sakurajima and inside the Twilight Dunes toward the center of the new map. Dazemu can only be found during the Day, so don't expect any to show up when the moon comes out. Keep in mind that Dazemu is a Ground-type Pal, so you might want to bring along a Grass-type to help counter them in battle.

Any Dazemu you defeat only drops one item, Bone , a basic material that can be used to create high-quality Paldium for other projects you may be working on.

Another place where you can find a Dazemu is within the Cherry Blossom Cave dungeon as an Alpha Pal boss. This creature is Level 40, posing a considerable challenge to ambitious adventurers trying to find this powerful new Pal in Palworld. You'll need at least one strong Pal of your own that is around this Level to contend with the powerful Ground-type moves at Dazemu's disposal.

How To Breed Dazemu

Use Specific Pal Combinations To Impart The Best Skills

Dazemu can be bred using nearly one hundred different Pal combinations, but you'll always want to use Pals that will breed a Dazemu with the Swift or Legend Passive Skills. The Swift skill increases a Dazemu's Speed by 30%, making them an extremely fast Land Mount compared to other creatures. Legend gives a 20% Attack bonus, a 20% Defense buff, and a 15% Speed boost to create a truly remarkable jack-of-all-trades Dazemu.

Some other good Passive Skills to breed into a Dazemu are Runner or Nimble, which both provide movement speed buffs. Try to experiment with different breeding combinations in Palworld to see which Dazemu can be born as the best Mounts.

All Dazemus that you breed will have the Gathering Lv. 2 Work Suitability, which is associated with gathering crops at your base. While Dazemu are best used as Mounts, you can leave extra ones without the best Passive Skills at your home to help you collect items. Once you find and catch a Dazemu at the right locations in Palworld, you can harvest what it drops or invest in breeding to find a good purpose for the creature.
