Yuta's Hollow Purple may not be as powerful as Gojo's due to his lack of precision.
Jujutsu Kaisen just confirmed one of the biggest fears about its new strongest hero, and it proves he may not be as powerful as fans hoped he would be. Ever since Yuta took over Gojo's body using Kenjaku's Cursed Technique, fans expected him to finally achieve his potential as Gojo's successor and become the strongest sorcerer with the power of Limitless, the Six Eyes, and Copy. However, the latest chapter suggests fans may be in for disappointment.
Chapter #262-2 of Jujutsu Kaisen reveals Yuta cannot use any other Cursed Techniques at present, as Rika isn't haunting Gojo's body but rather Yuta's original body. This means Yuta cannot use Copy any longer as well, as the Copy Cursed Technique, and all the techniques he has copied until now are all stored in Rika and accessed by the connection between them which has now been severed.
As such Yuta is only left with Limitless as a byproduct of being in Gojo's body, which he is having a hard time adjusting to. The latest chapter confirms that Yuta is indeed struggling to adjust to Gojo's body and using Limitless as flawlessly as Gojo did despite their swap training. A flashback in the chapter also stresses on Yuta's lack of precision with his cursed energy, which is crucial to using Limitless and may not bode well for Yuta or the Hollow Purple he is attempting to use on Sukuna.

Jujutsu Kaisen Gives Yuta A Major Nerf
Created by Gege Akutami Chapter #262-2 "Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown Part 34-2"
Close
Ever since he was first introduced and for as long as he has been in the series, Yuta has been mentioned time and time again to be the only sorcerer with the potential to surpass Gojo. The only thing Yuta was arguably missing was Gojo's level of Cursed Energy and Limitless, both of which he has now acquired.
Ideally, Yuta should have become the most powerful sorcerer in the series with Limitless, the Six Eyes to make the most of Limitless and Copy, which would have given him access to a myriad of other Cursed Techniques. Not being able to use Copy was certainly a huge nerf that greatly limits what Yuta can now do, especially since he has yet to get used to using Limitless.
From a storytelling perspective, it makes sense that Gege Akutami may have needed to take away Copy to balance out Yuta's character and not make him too overpowered. However, that does not make it any less disappointing, especially given how much Yuta's potential was teased and now may never be realized.

Yuta's Hollow Purple May Not Be As Powerful as Gojo's
A Subtle Hint in the Art Points to Yuta Failing To Cast Hollow Purple
Close
Interestingly, besides Yuta's unstable cursed energy and his struggle to get used to Limitless, a subtle hint in the art in chapter #262-2 also points to Yuta's Hollow Purple possibly going wrong. As is common knowledge by now, Hollow Purple is the result of mixing Gojo's Red and Blue techniques and is often represented by two overlapping circles. It is when these two techniques overlap much like the metaphorical circles that Hollow Purple is born.
However, in the latest chapter when Yuta casts Hollow Purple, these two circles do not appear to overlap even in the slightest. This may be a bad omen that Hollow Purple may not hit its mark or it may go wrong and take out both Yuta and Sukuna in the process. Hollow Purple is quite a challenging technique that requires a lot fo precision. Gojo made it look easy and while Yuta should be able to cast it with the proper chants and the Six Eyes at his disposal, his lack of precision pointed out by Gojo may indeed come back to bite him in the upcoming chapters.
Overall, the latest chapter has left Yuta Okkotsu's fate hanging in the balance. Without Copy, it is difficult to say whether Yuta will survive the current battle when his time is up and whether he will ever be able to return to his old body. Given that Yuta has trained under Miguel for so long, it is certainly weird that Yuta's sloppy cursed energy was pointed out so strongly. Yuta struggling to make much of an impact in Gojo's body has also come as a rather unpleasant surprise, but it seems this is the path Gege Akutami has chosen for Yuta's character and Jujutsu Kaisen's final battle.
