Loren met Alexei during her birthright trip to Israel in 2013 where he was working as a medic. Alexei grew up in Ukraine and moved to Israel at 11. Alexei was living in Nof HaGalil before he came to the U.S. and settled down in Florida to marry Loren. The couple has expressed a wish to go live in Israel with their kids.

Loren and Alexei have kept delaying their move to Israel amid the ongoing political and military conflict in the country. However, they did take a short vacation to Israel to celebrate Loren's in June 2024.

Alexei was slammed by fans for talking about tourism in Israel and not shedding light on the political issues.

He and Loren also posted a photo of them smiling at a memorial site. The couple's avoided addressing the backlash but has continued posting Stories on Instagram about Israel. Alexei shared a post that talked about Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh being assassinated in Tehran and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr being killed in Beirut. He captioned it, “Thank you IDF” in English with “Well done to the IDF” in Hebrew.
