How To Reroll In Zenless Zone Zero

How To Reroll In Zenless Zone Zero

If your squad isn't quite meeting your expectations in Zenless Zone Zero, you might want to consider rerolling. This allows you to pull and play with the characters you want. That being said, rerolling is entirely luck-based, and there is no guarantee you will get the Agent(s) you desire. Nonetheless, for the dedicated few who refuse to give up, rerolling is the best and, quite frankly, the only option.

Rerolling in Zenless Zone Zero is like Genshin Impact. So you'll know what's in store if you're coming from that or another one of HoYoverse's gacha games, like Honkai: Star Rail. However, if you're experiencing this game for the first time, expect the rerolling process to be a time-consuming and rather tedious endeavor.

It's Not As Straightforward

The only way to reroll in Zenless Zone Zero is to make a new account. That means creating a new email and registering it. Logging into the HoYoverse launcher to start a fresh game with that new account. After that, you'll need to complete the tutorial, skipping through all the dialogue and cutscenes, which takes about 30 minutes. Once all that's over, you can claim your rewards and begin doing pulls for new characters.

The chance of pulling an S-rank Agent is 0.6%.

Because you can't make guest accounts in ZZZ, this is the only way to reroll in the game. Fortunately, frenchtutor_ on YouTube outlines the exact rerolling process from start to finish. The only problem with this is you may not get the characters you want, forcing you to make another email, endure another 30 minutes of dialogue and cutscenes, and most likely end up with bad pulls again.

That's why it's better to focus on getting the right build for starter characters like Billy Kid in ZZZ rather than rerolling and hoping to pull the best ones. Nonetheless, if you want to run your chances, you should know how many pulls you get when you reroll.

How Many Pulls You Get

Whether you pick Belle or Wise as your protagonist at the start of the game doesn't affect your pulls. It would be best to play through the tutorial until you've unlocked the summoning feature and claimed your post-tutorial rolls. At this point, you'll have 20 Master Tapes to do pulls on the Standard banner. You'll just have to keep playing the game and leveling your account to get additional tickets.

You are guaranteed to get an S-rank Agent within the first 50 pulls you do on the Standard banner.

The good news is that new players receive a 20% discount on their first 50 pulls. So, as long as you do 10 pulls at a time, you'll only need 40 Master Tapes to get your first S-rank Agent. You have to hope it's the one you're looking for. But even if this is the case, rerolling remains a slow, risky, and repetitive process in Zenless Zone Zero.
