Long-time and newer fans of the Dragon Ball franchise will now have an easier time watching all of the action-packed movies and TV specials now that they are available on even more digital platforms than before. Since 1986, the Dragon Ball franchise has released many animated films and specials with condensed story arcs and told exciting original storylines across the Dragon Ball, DBZ, and DBGT series'. Thankfully, they have all become more accessible to enjoy than ever.

Back in the day, fans had to get lucky to catch a Dragon Ball Z movie during a live television broadcast, but the age of streaming has made that process a thing of the past. Most of the films and specials have been available on Crunchyroll's streaming platform, but according to Toei Animation's post on X, 20 Dragon Ball movies and TV specials are now available on Fandango at Home, Amazon, and the Microsoft/XBOX stores.

Many of the most popular Dragon Ball Z films, such as Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan and The History of Trunks, are now available on those platforms. Fans also have the chance to watch releases that were previously more difficult to find, like Dragon Ball's The Path of Power and the Dr.Slump crossover film Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure.

For a franchise known for memorable fights and iconic characters, it's difficult to argue that the movies introduced some of Dragon Ball's most beloved characters and battles. The legendary Saiyan and certified rage-monster Broly was such a popular character that not only did he appear in three of his own Dragon Ball Z movies, but he was brought back and reintroduced in arguably the best of his films, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Like many of the more readily available movies and specials, it was a film that expanded on Akira Toriyama's universe in entertaining ways.

The less popular and previously harder-to-come-by Dragon Ball films included alternative versions of the events from the young Goku's first adventures. Other films now available to watch on the Microsoft store also include fun alterations of Dragon Ball storylines that long-time fans may want to check out.

Thanks to Dragon Ball Super, the franchise has grown an entirely new generation of fans, helping make Akira Toriyama's adventures about Goku and his friends one of the world's most popular stories. Many fans did not have access to all of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super's releases, but with more of them becoming available, gaining the title of a Dragon Ball completionist is now a much more attainable goal.
