There are 12 Mystery Gifts available at the moment, which all have some exciting rewards. The biggest one at the moment is Roy’s Fuecoco but there are many others available. There is also one Mystery Gift that players must have purchased the DLC for, and it is available by downloading it from the internet, which is described below. Otherwise, you do not need an internet connection to redeem codes.

It was previously possible to get unique Mystery Gift codes for pre-ordering Pokémon Scarlet & Violet or purchasing the game within the first few months of release, but those have all expired now.

How To Use Mystery Gift Codes

Go To The Poké Portal

Players will have to unlock at least one Pokémon Center in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet before they can claim Mystery Gift codes in the game. This should not take much more than an hour or so of gameplay, depending on how long you spend agonizing over which starter you should choose. Then you can head over to your menu.

When you go into the menu, the Poké Portal will become available, which you will want to select. Right there you will see an option for “Mystery Gift,” after which you will then have several more options. You can download Mystery Gifts from the Internet when available, which is how to get the DLC-specific Mystery Gift, but you can also select the Code option to enter any of the codes above. You can also choose the “Check Poké Portal News” button to see if there are any new Mystery Gifts available.
