Well, I think it's probably not Leland's first confrontation with the American legal system. So, I think he has ideas about who has the upper hand in a courtroom. I think he's counting on the cavalry swooping in to save him. I don't know what the nature of that cavalry would be, but he's expecting help from some quarter.
