Things have finally begun to heat up in Fairy Tail's new exciting sequel, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, as the guild's newest member, Touka finally reveals her true colors and the team in Guiltina clashes against the fearsome Dragon Eaters. As such, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest episode #5 will resume the heated battle between Natsu's team and the Diablos Guild's Dragon Eaters.

Episode #5 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will be released on Crunchyroll and Netflix on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Japanese Standard Time (JST), which is 5:00 a.m. Eastern Time (EDT), 4:00 a.m. Central Time (CDT), and 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PDT). For fans of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest in the UK, the episode will be released at 10:00 a.m. British Summer Time (BST).

As for the dub, the English dubbed version of episode #1 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest was released on July 21, 2024. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly, thus fans can expect the English dubbed version of episode #5 to release on August 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (EDT), 4:00 p.m. Central Time (CDT), and 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PDT), and 10:00 p.m. British Summer Time (BST).

Episode #4 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest takes off with Jellal finally confronting Touka about being a White Mage. Unfortunately, Laxus steps in and defends Touka claiming she is under Fairy Tail's protection now that she has officially become a member of the guild. Meanwhile, back in Guiltina, Natsu, Wendy, and Erza have been captured by the Dragon Eaters and are being held on their ship. Erza is revealed to be still under Kiria's spell while Natsu and Wendy are incapacitated by motion sickness.

The episode then cuts to Lucy, Happy, and Carla, who are chased away by Karameel, who blames them for Mercphobia's state. While trying to catch up with the Dragon Eaters, Lucy and the cats encounter Brandish, who updates her on the whereabouts of the surviving members of the Spriggan 12 and the state of the Alvarez Empire since Zeref's defeat. Brandish also hands over Gray who she saved and reveals that Aquarius' key is somewhere in Guiltina.

As night falls, Erza breaks free of Kiria's hypnosis which she reveals had half the effect on her due to the magic only passing through her one real eye. Erza helps untie Natsu and Wendy and fortunately, Brandish, who happens to be passing by at the moment, enlarges a part of the seabed under the ship causing the ship to stop moving and curing Wendy and Natsu of their motion sickness. While Natsu and Wendy take on Madmole and Skullion, Erza crosses blades with Kiria, armed with a new blade enchanted with Dragon Slayer magic courtesy of Wendy.

Back in Ishgar, Touka refuses to reveal her secrets to the rest of the guild members as Gajeel catches a glimmer of a sinister smile on Touka's face. Touka then seeks out Jellal and reveals her true colors as she begins to steal Jellal's magic as well. As it turns out, Touka and the White Mage are two different personalities within Touka's body.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #5 Will Delve Into Touka's Powers

Episode #5 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will likely continue the battle against the Dragon Eaters with Lucy, Gray, Happy, and Carla likely reuniting with Natsu, Erza, and Wendy at last. It is still unclear how the battle will go as, despite being outnumbered, the Dragon Eaters already appear to be quite the powerful adversaries and will likely be recurring antagonists throughout the series that Natsu and the rest will have to power through at some point or another.

The upcoming episode will also likely delve into the specifics of Touka, or rather, the White Mage's powers as well as Touka's motive for approaching the Fairy Tail guild. There is still much to explained about how and why the White Mage stole Mercphobia's powers and what this means for the Water God Dragon. As such, the upcoming episode of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will likely also delve into this specific aspect of Mercphobia's character, who is expected to mysteriously go berserk and attack the town of Ermina.
