In The Sims 4: Lovestruck expansion, players will want to find matches to go on dates with to earn various rewards and fulfill their new goals. This expansion is all about romance and being able to cause all sorts of relationship drama between your Sims. You will be able to create custom dates, figure out who is the best Sim for your own, and level up your romance skill.
There are a lot of changes and updates to the Sims 4 with the Lovestruck expansion, but most of them have to do with how your Sims interact with others in relationships. While Sims have always been able to WooHoo, there are now more options and customizations for dates and new cosmetic items. There are also new types of death, including a broken heart. Hopefully, you can avoid those deaths by finding the right date for your Sim.

How To Setup Your Dating Profile In Cupid’s Corner App
Using Cupid’s Corner
To find a date, you first have to use Cupid’s Corner and create your own profile. This new app for your SIM phone or computer allows you to do some online dating and find matches. To start, open the app and create your profile.
You can change the photo, select which traits you want to advertise for your Sim and select the age range in which you want your Sim to be most interested in dating. There is also a Sexual Orientation section, but you must set those preferences in Create A Sim.
To edit the photo, you should click the camera item to change the selfie. Your Sim can move the camera and try different poses, but you may not want to change it if your Sim has a low photography skill. This can make your photo worse than it was before. However, having good photography skills will make your Sim look better and more attractive.
The traits you pick are important, as each Sim's traits will now affect how much other Sims are attracted to them and vice versa. Once you have finished setting up your profile, it is time to find a match. This is where you can find the perfect date to meet up with.
How To Find A Match In The Cupid’s Corner App
In the next tab over from your profile, you can view any potential matches. There are always seven, and if you like the look of one of them, you can select the “heart” symbol below their profile. If you do not like the look of any of them, you can click “Refresh Matches” to see new profiles. You cannot do this indefinitely, as the game will force you to wait a little while before selecting that option again.
For example, on your profile, you will only be able to see two of the traits of the Sims you are matching. This means you will not know if the Sims are completely compatible, but you will be able to get an idea. The game will let you know if these are traits your Sim likes or not and whether that Sim is a turn-off or turn-on.
You can save up to 15 Sims profiles in Cupid’s Corner, which is under the third tab. This is where any profiles you have "hearted" end up, but there is a catch. You can only interact with up to three of them daily, meaning you cannot interact with all 15 despite saving them. This is a small limitation, but it simply means you have to pick which three are your favorite. You can also add some of these Sims to your contacts so that you can talk to them and invite them to events outside of the app.
Creating Your Perfect Outing
Once you have saved a Sim’s profile and decided you want to test the waters, you can also ask them to go on a date. The option appears at the bottom right of the profile. Adding them to your contacts means you will have to get to know the Sim like normal and start as friends to work your way up. Creating a date will give you the opportunity to make it more romantic. Alternatively, if you hate one of your matches, you can also delete them on this page.
While you can still go on dates as normal in The Sims 4: Lovestruck expansion, you can also choose to customize your date if you do so through the new Create A Date function. You can do this through Cupid’s Corner or through the calendar.
Multiple options include Get To Know You, Romantic, Romantic Repair, or Friendly Hangout. The first two will be the most popular options in Cupid’s Corner, while Romantic Repair is mainly only used if the relationship has turned sour.
From there, you can fully customize the event, such as choosing whether or not you want the date to have goals and rewards, which are just like other event goals. You also get to pick the Venue and choose what activities your Sims will complete.
You also have the option to add other Sims to your date, which might be good or bad depending on whether your lovestruck Sim's aspirations involve dating multiple people at the same time, this could be an option for that as well. If you want to know more about this, check out EA Help's video on how to set up a date.
You might want to be careful when inviting more than one Sim if you have relationships with both, as there are now romantic boundaries that could make your Sim’s partner jealous if they see certain actions happening, ruining the relationship.
Once you have planned the date, you have to show up! Now, you know all you need to know about finding dates, using the Cupid’s Corner app, and creating the perfect event for your Sims to attend in The Sims 4: Lovestruck expansion.
