This exciting development comes amid recent backlash the talent competition show received after judge Sofia Vergara hit one of her Golden Buzzers for a very mediocre act, sending Schumacher all the way to the live shows without any further deliberation. When AGT returns on August 13, following the conclusion of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, Schumacher will be competing alongside 43 other acts.
