Star Wars LEGO Fortnite: How To Remove Red Barrier Forcefields
While exploring Imperial Bunkers as part of LEGO Fortnite's Star Wars content, players will encounter Red Barrier Forcefields blocking their way forward. These Forcefields will be a familiar sight to any Star Wars fans, but how to remove them remains a mystery. Luckily, the only requirement to remove them involves eliminating the Stormtroopers and Imperial Officers that patrol the caves.
Before Imperial Bunkers can be accessed, however, players will need to build and upgrade a Rebel Village Outpost to Level 6. This involves a lengthy process of harvesting materials, building structures, and utility blocks and completing objectives. Once their Outpost reaches Level 6, players will receive a new objective to enter an Imperial Bunker.

Find And Steal Equipment And Resources From The Empire
At a Level 6 Rebel Outpost, players can chat with the NPC Captain Bravura, who will give them Clearance Codes and a Lightsaber. Either can be used to open the locked doors of any Imperial Bunker.
Once access to an Imperial Bunker is obtained, players will find themselves inside a lengthy cave network, with Red Forcefields blocking the path forward. The key to removing Red Forcefields is to defeat all enemies in the same area, including the Stormtroopers, miners and guards, and the tougher Imperial Officers.
To find an Imperial Bunker, players can use the Macrobinoculars item. Nearby Bunkers will be marked with the symbol of the Galactic Empire. Alternatively, building a Balloon Platform is an excellent way to quickly survey nearby areas.
Unfortunately, while the solution to removing Red Forcefields is fairly simple, actually clearing entire areas gets increasingly difficult the further players go. The first cave might only have a single squad of Stormtroopers, but further on, players will encounter larger squads and specialist Stormtroopers who can easily overwhelm an unprepared adventurer.
This includes Imperial Officers, who are tougher than Stormtroopers and carry the lethal DL-44 Blaster, as well as other variants. As such, players should prepare by stocking up on food items to restore health and carrying both ranged and melee weapons, including their own blaster and even a Lightsaber, if possible.
Lightsabers are far less elegant in LEGO Fortnite. While they deal high amounts of melee damage, they also destroy any crafting materials if structures are hit, making them effectively useless as harvesting tools.
However, anyone who ventures inside an Imperial Bunker removes the Red Barrier Forcefields and defeats the Empire will find the rewards great. Imperial Bunkers in LEGO Fortnite contain Lightsaber variants, valuable materials, and more, so exploring them can be a risky but highly rewarding adventure.
