Big Brother 26’s Angela Murray Scores Shocking Protection Deal Despite Producer Plant Accusations (SPOILERS)
Summary Angela's unexpected safety in Big Brother 26 has viewers reevaluating her gameplay despite early controversies.
Originally viewed as a target, Angela's social game has improved, with some houseguests now wanting to protect her.
Keeping Angela in the game may benefit some players, as her subdued gameplay poses less of a threat.
Big Brother 26’s Angela Murray may have been accused of being a producer plant, but her shocking safety after a few major social blunders is making viewers think twice about her game. Angela started Big Brother 26 as one of the 16 houseguests in a summer-long power struggle to win $750,000. One of the longest-running reality TV shows on the air, Big Brother 26 is the newest season of the series and has revitalized the gameplay after a few stagnant seasons. Big Brother introduced Angela along with the rest of the houseguests, not realizing that she would be controversial.
After the Big Brother 26 live feeds revealed that Angela was taken off the nomination block by veto holder and fellow nominee Tucker Des Lauriers, it was revealed that another nominee, Kenney Kelley, seemingly had his own plans to keep Angela out of trouble. Kenney has been on the nomination block for the first three weeks of Big Brother 26. Though it appeared he was struggling to get along with Angela, Kenney recently shared that he wants to keep her safe moving forward, even though the rest of the house views her as a major target in the BB house.

Why Are Big Brother 26 Players Protecting Angela Murray?
She’s Been A Target Since Week One
Close
Angela’s appearance on Big Brother 26 has been on borrowed time throughout the season, as after her first week as Head Of Household, she had everyone on edge. Kenney was originally one of Angela’s major adversaries, but it appears the pair have reached some sort of deal as Kenney has shared he doesn’t plan to nominate Angela if he wins Head Of Household in the future. While the rest of the Big Brother houseguests appear to see Angela as a target, some are realizing that keeping Angela in the game may be a better move for the long term.
While Angela’s social game has been difficult on the house and caused some major issues in her gameplay, the rest of the houseguests have taken notice that her erratic behavior has subsided in the last week. Along with the fact that Angela is now more subdued, her gameplay isn’t really threatening to anyone else in the house. Though she was able to win the first Head Of Household of the summer, Angela isn’t a competitive threat to the rest of the house, and her social game likely won’t recover from the earlier days of Big Brother 26.
With Angela potentially staying in the house for the long run as both Tucker and Kenney have an interest in protecting her, it’s possible that her game could be far from over. Though the other side of the Big Brother 26 house wants to take Angela out sooner rather than later, her gameplay has settled down and there are already people who think keeping her in the game for the long haul could be better for them at the end. While Angela may not have planned to be carried on Big Brother 26, it could be good for her game.
Big Brother airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT, and Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
