How To Upgrade Tools In ASKA
Materials in AKSA will always need to be harvested through tools, but higher-tier items cannot be collected until you upgrade various pieces of equipment. Those looking to get better resources to upgrade their tribe have to improve their tools sooner rather than later. Doing this will also unlock a variety of other item recipes that will be useful as you discover blueprints for bigger projects.
Like the best survival games to play, AKSA gives you access to tools from the very beginning of your adventure. However, many of these items are very basic and only allow you to harvest starting materials from the opening areas of the world. Your tribe will never grow to be its strongest if it only uses the resources gained from basic Wood Hoes, Stone Pickaxes, or other bare-bones tools.

Build Stations Using Advanced Construction
The only way to make upgraded tools in AKSA is to make a Workshop station one of the many buildings added to your tribe. This place can be improved multiple times throughout your playthrough, with additional tool recipes becoming available almost every time the Workshop grows. You only need basic materials like Wood and String to construct a Workshop at an early point in your adventures.
You can find the Workshop as something you can build from your starting Crafting Table within your tribe. Go to the "Advanced Construction" section of your Table's menu to discover an item called the "Workshop Pit," which is the building attachment you're looking for. Similar to the Artisan Table in Valheim, just spending the resources on building the Workshop Pit will automatically unlock new blueprints for you to use.
The Workshop Pit can be upgraded into the Workshop Hut and so on with different materials over time. It will get more and more expensive to improve this building, but this should always be a project that has some of your focus. Those who max out the possible upgrades for the Workshop can gain access to the strongest tools in AKSA, including many of the best farming tools within the game.
Unlike settlement restrictions in Fallout 4, AKSA tribes do not have a size limit when it comes to the number of buildings you make. That being said, every Workshop built takes up a certain amount of space in your base, so place each station carefully.
Numerous events that help you progress through the game's story cannot be completed until you get better equipment. Taking the time to upgrade your tools in AKSA is not just to make your tribe stronger but also to help you discover more about the world as you move forward.
