The Squid Game season 3 release date may have been revealed by accident. Picking up years after the events of the hit premiere season, Squid Game season 2 dropped on Netflix just one week ago, on December 26, 2024. The sophomore series had seven episodes, shortened from season 1's nine-episode span. The end credits of Squid Game season 2 promised that season 3 would come in 2025, but did not reveal an exact release date. Audiences will be anxious to see what happens to round out the series, because season 2 ended on a cliffhanger.

As per Forbes, the release date for Squid Game season 3 may have inadvertently been revealed. This date could be June 27, 2025.
