90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Armando Rubio is revealing a surprising update about his father amid rumors that he was having money problems with husband Kenny Niedermeier. Armando, from Mexico, had lost his wife and unborn baby to an accident before he met Kenny on a group for gay dads. Both Armando and Kenny were single fathers who first became friends and then decided to date the American man, uprooting his life for Armando. While Kenny and Armando wanted to get married, Armando’s family was against the idea, especially his father.

It took Armando a lot of tears and convincing to get his father to agree to his wedding with Kenny in Mexico, where Armando had to have a “macho man” personality as per his culture.

Armando and Kenny married in May 2021 and live in Mexico City with Armando’s daughter, Hannah. They posted pictures of their New Year’s celebration, revealing Kenny, Armando, and Hannah had gone to Armando’s home in San Felipe, Baja California to ring in 2025.
