Sister Wives: Signs Meri Brown Already Has A New Boyfriend (What We Know About Her "Mystery Man")

Sister Wives season 19 star Meri Brown left her polygamist husband in 2022, and she may already have replaced him with a new man. 53-year-old Meri was Kody Brown's first wife. At his peak, 55-year-old Kody had four wives and 18 children, but the last few years divided the family irrevocably. Meri and Kody were married in 1990, and it wasn't long before Kody took on two additional wives. In 1993, he married Janelle Brown, and in 1994, his third wife, Christine Brown, joined their plural family. Another 16 years would go by before Kody married Robyn Brown in 2010.

Meri desperately wanted her marriage to work, despite all the terrible things Kody had said about her over the years. After many years of neglect, the Sister Wives season 19 star accepted the fact that she'd never have a real marriage with Kody. She wasn't the first of Kody's wives to leave him. Christine and Janelle both walked out on the plural marriage in 2022. After leaving Kody, Christine married another man, David Woolley. Meri was hoping the same thing would happen to her, and she might have a new "mystery man" in her life.

Meri & Kody's Emotional Goodbye

The End Of An Era

After dragging out a long-dead relationship, Meri finally left Kody in 2022, following 32 years of marriage. She finally got some closure during Sister Wives season 19, when Kody and Meri said their goodbyes. In a scene posted by TLC on YouTube, Kody cried while bidding Meri farewell. He said, "Meri, it’s the end of an era." Though it would be tempting to think Kody's tears were about regretting his marriage, he made it clear that he'd wanted out for years. Kody's tears were probably more about relief than regret.

Meri Introduced A New "Mystery Man"

Meet Brandon Stone

After being single for a long time, Meri recently posted an Instagram photo of herself with a new man. In the photo, the Sister Wives season 19 star poses with a man named Brandon Stone. Her caption reads, "It's a Christmas miracle! #MysteryMan #LifeIsGood." Meri doesn't identify the male as her boyfriend, but her meaning is easy to discern. Judging by Brandon's Instagram page, he's a military veteran, and has at least one child. Meri's post already has over 30K likes.

Amos Wasn't Her Guy

Close

This wouldn't be the first time Meri hard-launched a relationship since leaving Kody. After leaving her marriage-turned-spiritual union, the Sister Wives season 19 star started dating a new man named Amos Andrews. All seemed well at first, as Meri posted about her relationship often. She really seemed to be blissfully happy as she shared updates and enjoyed new experiences with Amos. Hopes were high that Meri had finally found her person, but those hopes were soon dashed. In February 2024, Meri announced her breakup on Instagram.

Meri explained that though she and Amos cared about each other, their relationship wasn't going to continue. Meri was single for a long time after her split from Amos. The Sister Wives season 19 star focused on herself, her health, and her business empire. Meri lost weight, and started a new life coaching business. With her one child, 29-year-old Leon Brown, all grown up and living in another state, Meri found herself alone. Hopefully, her new relationship works out for her, and she can follow in Christine's footsteps when it comes to finding happiness in a post-Kody world.
