Despite concerns about whether he would return for the latest installment, Jim Carrey seems excited about the chances of coming back for Sonic the Hedgehog 4.
During an interview with Cinema Today to discuss the release of the third movie, Carrey was asked about his thoughts on returning for Sonic the Hedgehog 4. After making a joke at the start of the interview that he will be "power-resting" between jobs, he went on to say that he is "definitely open" to returning for the fourth movie, acknowledging that it will ultimately come down to the idea presented to him by the creative team, while also praising the fanbase's support. Check out what Carrey said below:
I'm definitely open. I'm open to the idea, and generally, they come to me with the next idea, and if I go, "That sounds fun," then I'll do it. I don’t feel locked to anything in life, unless it's something that interests me. I certainly love this crew, I love this gang that makes these movies, and I love the fans. There's a lot of really great energy around it, great responses, and the fans jump in and say, "How about if you do this?" They've been super helpful. I think we're all making this movie together.
