The Wild Robot's streaming release date has now been revealed following its successful run in theaters. Directed by Chris Sanders and based on the book of the same name by Peter Brown, the animated family movie follows an intelligent robot named Roz (Lupita Nyong'o) as she becomes stranded on a remote island and bonds with the animals who call it home. The Wild Robot's reviews were glowing from critics and audiences alike, and the film was ultimately a box office success, grossing $324 million in theaters.

After finding success in theaters and releasing on VOD on October 15, the DreamWorks Animation movie is now set to head to streaming. Per Deadline, The Wild Robot will become available to stream on Peacock starting Friday, January 24, 2025.
