After having a very successful release since its launch at the beginning of December 2024, Infinity Nikki has just introduced its second game update, the 1.1 Shooting Star Season Update. The open-world dress-up game now sees some exclusive celestial-themed items and outfits arriving with the new update, bringing with them a variety of brand-new events and quests for players to complete. The update is quite a generous one, offering a nice amount of new content for players who may have already finished the main story quest and are looking for new ones.

The 1.1 Shooting Star Season Update began on December 29, 2024, and will run until January 23, 2025. Key highlights from the update include the addition of a variety of new outfits, including limited-time Resonance outfits, store outfits, and even a brand-new miracle outfit. Aside from outfit-oriented events and rewards, the update has also introduced a series of exclusive events which players can participate in to unlock rewards like outfit sketches, Diamonds, and stylist cards. What was once a chaotic visual display of Nikki's transformation between different ability outfits and Momo's shooting canon skills, has now been replaced by the much more mellow, whimsical title screen featuring a beautiful night sky of shooting stars to complement the 1.1 Shooting Stars Season update. Each of the different loading screens offers a different vibe, but it's safe to say that for a game that is supposed to be ultimately cozy, the new title screen is a little bit more suitable.

One of the limited-time, exclusive new events to arrive in Infinity Nikki with the 1.1 Shooting Stars Season update is the Let's Touch Shooting Stars event. To unlock the Let's Touch Shooting Stars! event, a player must complete the limited-time quest "Save the Wishing Nebula!"

In the first week of the event, a player will unlock the normal difficulty levels of the event, which will be followed in the second week by more difficult levels to complete.

Once the event is unlocked, players will need to complete a variety of levels to earn exclusive event rewards like Diamonds and the Starlit Wish stylist card background. 7 Adventure Under The Stars Event

Starry Night Adventure Quest

For players who wish to utilize the 1.1 Shooting Stars Season event to obtain more Diamond rewards in Infinity Nikki, participating in the new Adventure Under The Star event will be useful. Upon completing the "Go to the Dream Warehouse!" main story quest, players will be able to unlock the event, which will introduce new World and Random Quests in Wish Adventures and Wish Encounters. In addition to Diamonds being the primary reward for completing tasks in the event, players will have the opportunity to also obtain the exclusive Overflowing Fortune earrings sketch.

The Interlude: Call of Beginnings event began on the server on December 29, 2025, and can be unlocked in the Heart of Infinity as soon as a player has completed the "Fifteen Years, Echoes of Wishes" quest.

From there, a player will need to complete the Call of Beginnings chapter, which will unlock a brand-new node in the Heart of Infinity which will reveal the sketch for the new five-star Miracle Outfit for free: Silvergale's Aria.

5 Starwish Gifts Check-In Event

The new daily check-in event, in Infinity Nikki, the Starwish Gifts event, is easily the most straightforward and simple new reward system to be implemented with the 1.1 Shooting Stars Season update. The event can only be claimed from when a player has completed the "Go to the Dream Warehouse" quest.

The event will run for 7 days until January 12, 2025, and all a player needs to do is simply log in daily for the 7 days to claim the rewards. The rewards include Revelation Crystals, which can be used on the permanent banner in Infinity Nikki.

4 Pink Ribbon Eel Event

Players of Infinity Nikki will need to brush up on their fishing skills as the Pink Ribbon Eel delivers some new reward opportunities with the 1.1 Shooting Stars Season update. This is another event that can only be unlocked when a player has completed the "Go to the Dream Warehouse" main story quest. The goal of the Pink Ribbon Eel event is for Stylists to catch the Pink Ribbon Eels, otherwise known to be a symbol of good luck, in the water beside the Swan Gazebo and Leisureely Anglers. Once caught, the Pink Ribbon Eels can be exchanged with Mitcheli for rewards including Diamonds and the title Only the Willing.

3 Star-Kissed Wishes Event

One of the exclusive quest events that has arrived in Infinity Nikki with the new 1.1 Shooting Stars Season update is the Star-Kissed Wishes event, which can be unlocked as soon as a player completes the main story quest, "Go to the Dream Warehouse!". The Star-Kissed Wishes event runs until January 23, 2025, and opens up a selection of activities for players to complete, including Good Decor, Bad Decor, Truth and Celebration, and Save the Wishing Nebula. In exhange for completing these tasks, players can expect to obtain rewards like the limited-time Memory's Stardust earrings sketch as well as Diamonds.

The 1.1 Shooting Stars event has introduced the Celestial Wishes limited-time Resonance event, which will run until January 23, 2025. The new Resonance event features two new outfits; a five-star outfit called Wings of Wishes and a four-star outfit called Starfall Radiance. The Wings of Wishes outfit is an Infinity Nikki ability outfit which allows Nikki to float atop the wings of a paper crane, and both this outfit and Starfall Radiance have beautiful evolved versions.

The new outfits have been available since December 29, 2024, and will only be available in the Store until January 23, 2025.

During the Celestial Wishes event, players can use Revelation crystals, with every 10 Resonances guaranteeing a four-star or higher piece of an outfit, and every 20 Resonances guaranteeing a five-star piece. In addition to the new five-star and four-star outfits to arrive with the 1.1 Shootings Stars event, there are also three brand-new, limited-time outfits available to be purchased in the Store in Infinity Nikki. The three new outfits vary in style and include Gleaming Dance, Snowy Encounter, and Star of the Gala.

There is never any shortage of things to do in Infinity Nikki, and with the regular game events and updates that have been introduced in the game so far, it can be difficult to keep up with the content. The 1.1 Shooting Stars Season update is, albeit only the second in-game event so far, abundant with content that is sure to keep players of the game busy until it ends on January 23, 2025. From participating in the variety of new quests the update provides, to crafting a brand-new Miracle Outfit, and to attempting to unlock both of the new Celestial Wishes outfits in time, the 1.1 Shooting Stars Season update is both an overwhelming and generous addition to what is already an incredibly busy game.
